Artist Bio:

Hi, I’m Abbey! I’m a filmmaker, photographer, and visual artist who loves telling real, honest stories. I make all kinds of stuff — short films (both narrative and experimental), creative portraits, music videos, and some commercial work as well. My films have played at over 60 festivals worldwide, as well as some museum and gallery settings.

I grew up moving around a lot — Illinois, Texas, Singapore, the Pacific Northwest — so I think that shaped who I am and how I see things. As an adult, I’ve lived in New York and L.A., shooting video projects for brands like Adidas, Calvin Klein, Microsoft, and Dazed and Confused magazine. I’ve filmed at New York Fashion Week, edited videos of Ariana Grande and Janelle Monáe, and helped direct a short film that screened at the White House Student Film Festival during the Obama administration.

After taking some time to focus on my mental health, I’ve been reconnecting with my voice as an artist. Creating has always been a grounding and healing part of my life — a space where I can experiment, express, and rediscover what inspires me and what is meaningful to me.

Thanks for being here and taking the time to check out my work. I’m always open to connecting, collaborating, or just chatting about creative ideas!
